This detailed map of the second day of the Battle of Gettysburg was created by Union officer William H. Willcox. Serving as an aide-de-camp to Major General John F. Reynolds, Willcox marked key positions, including where Reynolds was fatally wounded on July 1, 1863. This map, one of only two known works by Willcox, captures the terrain with remarkable accuracy but reflects the uncertainties of battle in its depiction of enemy positions. Reproduced on premium acid-free, archival-quality paper using match-print color technology. 17"x19". Price includes free shipping.
